The
School of Shiatsu and Massage is tucked in the hillside of northern California, on land shared with Harbin Hot Springs.
Since its inception over 30 years ago, the School has been at the forefront in training aquatic bodyworkers in Watsu®, Healing Dance and Waterdance™.
We also offer training in traditional land bodywork modalities: Massage, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue and more. Our courses are NCBTMB certified and can be applied toward CE hours.

Are you wishing to try something new or considering making bodywork your career of choice? Are you a practicing bodyworker wanting to expand or improve your technique? A successful health professional looking for the most contemporary bodywork for your clients? Whatever your current level of bodywork experience or your reasons for wanting to attend, our School offers you a wide range of options and opportunities, from single classes to advanced Training Programs.
Taught by successful practicing professionals, our 5 and 10 day classes present a comprehensive approach to the modality being taught. Each class provides the anatomy and hands-on training required to give a sensitive, intuitive and complete bodywork session. Many classes offer guidance in setting up a practice and marketing. All this ensures that you leave the School as a competent and confident bodywork professional. We have many weekend classes available for Continuing Education hours or learning weekend getaways.
Perhaps the most popular feature of our School is that you can start at any time of the year at whatever level of training is appropriate for you. Beginning level classes are offered regularly, along with more advanced classes, as well as unique modalities that will re-inspire the practicing therapist.
